“Meditation brings wisdom; lack of meditation leaves ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom.” -Buddha
Meditation is a practice where an individual focuses their mind on a particular object, thought or activity to achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state. It reduces stress, anxiety, depression, and pain. It is performed while sitting, repeating a mantra, and closing the eyes in a quiet environment.
